Early 18th century gilded statue of Maria Immaculata (Alpine) VRbags2024 Fully lined in a goldThis is a most beautiful statue that was most likely made in the Austrian Alps around 1700. It's carved and gilded wood and with the typical symbolism for Maria Immactulata it shows Mary standing on a globe around which a dragon snake is wrapped. The beautiful little base below is probably not as old, but still antique. 12. 5 inches high (32 cm). Exquisite piece. Shipping note.
