Compelled to transpose my feelings onto this canvas I began building layers generating an abstract sense of subtle movement within water and sky. Slow and peaceful movements dominated the application of my mark marking in this artwork. Subdued, soft, almost cloud like markings emerged to contrast dramatically against bold, lineal, sharp edged forms. Similarly, I toyed with colour temperature
