Sauska, Cabernet Franc Siklos, 2020 (Case) One Chain Vineyards spiced plums and red liquoriceThis is a fantastically classy Cabernet Franc, more than a little reminiscent of Chateau Cheval Blanc Saint Emilion Premier Grand Cru Classe. It displays rich yet refined aromas of tobacco and oriental spices: cardamom, clove, and a touch of cinnamon. Ripe red and black berries come through on the palate, balanced with wonderful freshness and incredibly silky tannins. A truly fine wine.
