His bronze casting technique is a careful, multi step process. Each piece begins as a wax model coated in layers of ceramic shell. The wax is melted out, and the mould is fire cured. Bronze is heated to 1150C in a gas fired furnace and poured into the mould. As it cools, the shell breaks away. The casting is then fettled with files and sandpaper, and
