On September 6th of 2021 we harvested the Chardonnay and returned to the winery where we pressed the grapes coarsely and slowly over hours

2022 we picked these grapes by hand with a team of family and friends

It has depth and concentration but also has tension and acidity

We picked the grapes and trod them to let the juice soak with the gorgeous skins for several hours. After pressing, the juice was radiant, and we let it settle for two days in steel before racking into four neutral barrels. The wine fermented slowly through the winter and in the spring malolactic fermentation had only partially finished. We continued to stir the lees gently, once each
