Surrendered watercolor and effortlessly elegantIn a forest, nothing grows alone. The trees lean into one another, roots intertwined, sharing what they have, giving what is needed. No grasping. Just the quiet surrender of each to the whole, and to something larger than themselves. This piece began the way my best work does, by letting go of what I thought it should be.
